The Environmental Scan is a tool designed to help school-based

Updated SEL Dallas Approach
SEL Dallas recently updated its SEL Leg of Stoolto highlight key components of comprehensive social and emotional learning. Our new approach will include four main areas: explicit skills instruction, climate and culture, content integration, and family engagement.
SEL Competencies with Equity Focus
CASEL has updated the descriptions of the five SEL competencies to include connections with equity. Check out Dallas ISD’s SEL Competencies handout (available in English and Spanish), describing habits and mindsets around self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making.
